About PeakTaken

PeakTaken lets you put a name or brand on a real peak pin — a gold marker on a trophy-case map of the world's peaks. Name a peak. Until someone outbids you for that peak.

It isn't real property, an official geographic name, or anything a government recognizes. You hold the pin until someone outbids you.

Exclusive, temporary, and proudly unofficial. That's the gimmick.
