Unofficial entertainment. PeakTaken does not sell mountains, land, or naming rights. Pins are temporary display on a trophy-case map — until someone outbids you for that peak.
What you pay for
You pay for a temporary display of a short name (and optional logo/URL) on a virtual map pin of a real peak. You do not acquire land, mineral rights, park permissions, or any official geographic naming right.
Outbids & refunds
When someone pays the next price, they replace you on that pin. There is no refund to the previous payer except in case of a proven double charge / payment provider error. If someone else takes the pin while you are still paying, your payment is refunded automatically. Content may be removed for hate, illegality, or impersonation after a report.
Privacy
We store the email you provide at checkout, payment provider references, and the display content you submit. No account is required in v1. Contact for takedown: legal@peaktaken.com. General inquiries: hello@peaktaken.com.

Peak locations and names are derived from public OpenStreetMap natural=peak data (© OSM contributors). Elevations from OSM tags where present.
